Hi, my name is Karen McDonald-Bowman, I have been on life's journey now for fifty years. In that time I have had many experiences that will enable me to be of service to you. They include:

• Losing my husband to cancer after eleven years of marriage
• Being a single parent and raising our son.
• Successfully remarried now for eleven years.
• Experiencing the challenge of a blended family
• Having the responsibility of an aging parent.

• I have also had formal training and experience in being a Licensed Professional Counselor for more then nine years.
• Extensive experience with Teen Challenge as a Board member, Staff member, and volunteer. 
• Graduate of the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary.
